So my entire church has started a fast for the first three months of the year. In January we did no junk "No Junk January" and it was a success for me and my family. Now *clears throat, we are doing no starches. Starches include foods that contain grains like wheat, rice, barley and oats, potatoes, corn and beans. Grains are made into bread, cereal, pasta, biscuits, crackers, pie crust, cakes and anything else made with flour. Now going into this month I thought it would be very simple to go without these things. --------> Now I am a Full-Time Student and a Full-Time Employee so I am on the go all day from 9:00 am -6:00 pm. Starting this alternative meal plan MUST be planned. I have struggled for the first couple of days with this because I thought that I could just simply go to fast food restaurants and be okey dokey, ummmmm NO, definitely NO. This takes meal planning, a lot of preparation and most definitely discipline.  I made a grocery list and did well for the first couple of days but this particular "diet" was not for me. I had to figure out what was best for me and go through with a PLANNNN !!
